Manaslu Circuit Trek 2025

My 2025 winter has ended on a high note! This is my 2nd time on the Manaslu Circuit trek and and as I wrote a few years ago, it's still one of the best treks I've done in the Himalayas. There is change coming to this area and I wonder if in a few years how that will affect the quietness of the area, but there are clear benefits that come with this too. Once again we saw at most 20 trekkers each day, sometimes no one and the warmness of each person's genuine welcome made this a privilege to be part of that community's way of life for a brief moment.

That one day after a heavy snow storm will stay with me for ever, definitely the most spectacular day I've had in these big hills and I've had quite a few over the years!
